Hat tip to Ed Sousa for these amazing pictures! Note the cross on the right of the tip picture.
Even the fire fighters that were near the Cross said it was going to be destroyed. The next day Gene Blevins, the photographer went back to the scene to get some more shots and saw the Cross was not even touched not ever scorched from the heat.

This is great...
Not that I am on the hunt for stuff like this, but if you look at the top photo, tip your head to the right, and look at the top left curl of flame, you might see the same face I do...
What is the cross made of? Concrete or wood?
