I dearly love Padre Pio. What an honor for that dear Friar. I can't imagine what it was like to know such a Saint. The world needs more Saints like our dear Padre Pio.

My son is alive because of the intercession of St. Padre Pio. My son, at age 7, suffered a severe cerebral hemorrhage. The hematoma, the size of a lime, was located near the hypothalmus. The doctors did not think he would survive the night. Providentially, my mother had been given blessed oil that that had been touched to a relic of the saint. My daughter annointed her brother with the oil. After 1 month in a coma, he emerged with very little noticable effect from the trauma that should have killed him. Praised be to Our Lord for using the intercession of St. Pio to preserve my son's life. Blessed be God.

How wonderful to listen to this. It is as if one is transported to the final moments in our dearest Saint Padre Pio's life. I love this holy saint and I know he prays for me and for all the intentions I bring to him. I pray particularly to him asking him to intercede for the sanctification of priests. Who better to ask for prayers than one of the most holy priests that lived! God bless you all. Marianne Johnpillai, Sri Lanka

I did a little checking and the friar who administered the last rites is Fr. Paolo Covino, still alive at age 90. That very interesting video was made when he was younger.
