Visiting a Carthusian Monastery

Thank you for this great visit to a Carthusian Monastery. With the explanations given, it is for more informative than "Into Great Silence" which can be almost oppressive after a while. This is truly a very special vocation and certainly not for everyone. As much of a contemplative bent as I have, I don't think that I could live in such austerity. But it is a beautiful thing to view and I am grateful for the men who spend their lives "wasting time" with the Lord. We could all do with a bit more of this "wasting time" with Him.
