Coming soon: Finding Fatima

Hat tip to Catholic Fire on this one! The same people who brought us The 13th Day Movie are bringing us Finding Fatima! The project is due to open on May, 13, 2010. Let's pray that this good project gets wide circulation and that many will be touched by the message of Fatima once again!

And below see a clip from the documentary:

The documentary opens on Hiroshima 1945.
8 Jesuit priests living just 8 blocks from the blast site miraculously survived the atomic blast. Everyone else within a radius of roughly 1.5 Kilometres was reportedly killed instantly, and those outside the range died of radiation within days. However, the only physical harm to Fr. Shiffer was that he could feel a few pieces of glass in the back of his neck.

The priests have been examined over 200 times by scientists. Each time the priests repeated the same explanation for their survival:

"We believe that we survived because we were living the message of Fatima."

It's amazing and awesome how Fatima plays a significant role in the world's politics. Being a "Fatima baby", my appreciation for Our Lady and her message has only deepened.

I just gave a talk this past week in which I stated the words of Fr. Schiffer and told the people we must remember what happened at Fatima. Our Lady told us that Russia would spread her errors throughout the world. Indeed we are seeing the results in our beloved country right now. We must listen to Fr.Schiffer: Pray the rosary, do penance and offer sacrifices to be among those who bring about the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the coming of the Kingdom of Christ on earth. Thank God this movie is coming out. Let us pray that it changes lives and the world!

@Kathleen - "Our Lady told us that Russia would spread her errors throughout the world" and I remember in the 60s all Catholics all over the world were reciting prayers to save Russia.... And God heard this, and Russia is now free. Orthodox Catholics are rising again... My unanswered question is: WHY was there no call from the church to thank God for this great miracle? ... At least I never heard that. We should learn to say thanks.
