FIREPROOF is an action-packed love story that will have audiences laughing, crying, and on the edge of their seats as they are drawn into the world of a firefighter, his wife ... and a marriage worth rescuing.
The Kendrick brothers made "Fireproof" as they make all of their films: as a mission! According to the Catholic Media Review their low budget sleeper hit “Facing the Giants” made an astounding $10 million. They now find themselves with a larger budget ($250K) and the backing of a major studio for this film. Their didactic methods are subtler, and more effective than the somewhat predictable “Giants”. Nail-biting action scenes, comic relief characters, a lush natural setting, and a moving score make “Fireproof” a film which should appeal to an even larger audience.

This is a bold film about the importance of covenant marriage and unconditional love--it's so nice to see a film where marriage is held up and defended, not degraded. I got a copy of the Love Dare devotional book used by the lead actor in the movie; it's profoundly important that couples learn these concepts. I found it online at www.thelovedarebook.com. Hope it helps. Bring your spouse to see this movie!
