Celtic Thunder: Heartland!

This is another great song from Celtic Thunder called Heartland!

The chorus in Gaelic is:

A Lhiarana Dean trocaire.
A Chriost Dean Trocaire.
A Thiarana Dean trocaire.
A Chriost Dean Trocaire.

Which translates into modern Irish as:

Lord Have Mercy.
Christ Have Mercy.
Lord Have Mercy.
Christ Have Mercy.

Find out more about the group (composed of both Protestants and Catholics from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (and one from Scotland as a nod to the UK Celts) at this site here.

I love this song.

I found it ironic that as I was looking for the meaning to these words I found a site with my Confirmation Saint's name on it.

My confirmation name is John Bosco.
